There are so many different types of website traffic, organic traffic, paid traffic, direct traffic, social media traffic or referral traffic, and email marketing. So how do we choose what’s best for our business?

Having an understanding of how search engine result pages may be helpful to us.

Understand when deciding which is best, search engine results pages, or SERPs, will probably prioritize paid traffic and listings, which are advertisements such as Google Ads.

However, this can be costly and not all startups and stagnant businesses have the budget for this. Again, I’ve been there.

Organic traffic does not require you to spend, but this is something that will require time as search engines find your search as relevant and having authority.

Direct or referral traffic is great because you don’t have to pay for ads or rely on someone hopefully finding your site.
